Hayes Knoll locomotive shed

Hayes Knoll shed seen from the signal box. All this is entirely new, and has been built by the Railway on a new site.
Hayes Knoll Station
The station platform can handle four-coach trains, and this is the capacity that is intended by the time the Railway is extended to Moulden Hill. Here, another new station is planned on the Western outskirts of Swindon.
Inside Hayes Knoll shed
The shed provides over 500 ft of track in three roads for the repair and restoration of locomotives and rolling stock.
Locos outside Hayes Knoll shed
Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0ST Slough Estates No 3 and Hawthorn Leslie 0-6-0ST Isabeloutside the shed.
Space inside the shed is now at a premium. These pictures were taken in rather cramped conditions!
