Train services on the Swindon & Cricklade Railway allow visitors to enjoy train rides on most weekend days, Public Holidays and School Holiday Wednesdays. The facility to arrange private events also means that parties and groups can visit the Railway at other mutually agreed times.

Standard Timetable 2012
This timetable will be operated by Steam or Diesel services for Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holiday events and School Holiday Wednesdays unless otherwise stated for certain Special Event days.

The last train of the day does not travel over the extensions. This is to allow the Permanent Way team better access to the track, including building the extension to Mouldon Hill
Passengers are not taken up or set down at Bridge 107. Trains travel south from Blunsdon and reverse.
Passengers are not taken up or set down at South Meadow Lane. Trains travel north from Hayes Knoll and reverse.
While every effort will be made to operate the above timetable and overall journey, either or both may be suspended or revised without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances or the necessity to undertake engineering works.

Saturdays from 3rd March throughout the year.
Sundays from 5th Feb to 1st April and 4th - 25th Nov.
Train fares Adult £7, Senior £6, Child £5,
Family (two adults + two children) £20.
Train fares Adult £6, Senior £5, Child £4:50,
Family (two adults + two children) £17.
All tickets allow the holder to ride on as many available trains as desired from the time of purchase on the day concerned
PLEASE NOTE that these fares will be revised for some special events. These fares will be advertised on this web site in advance of the events concerned.

Trains will operate to the above timetable unless otherwise shown in red or advertised on the News page or special page promoting the event.
Steam or diesel haulage will be indicated for Special Event days in the relevant publicity.
Pre-booking
Prior booking is not necessary for any event unless specially noted below.
Dining Events require pre-booking. Please use the email links shown below. Note that Dining Events take place in special carriages attached to the normal service train, where no pre-booking is required.
Santa Specials An on-line pre-booking facility will be created, and its availability will be announced nearer the time. Visitors will also be able to pay on arrival, subject to the possibility of having to wait during busy times.
Other events Tickets may be pre-purchased if required. Please use this email link to state your requirements, allowing a minimum of four working days for processing and posting.

Moonraker set
The Railway is always prepared to discuss private events with individuals, groups and organisations. These include visits by groups, clubs and parties, with special trains being run as agreed.
