Cafe area Blunsdon is where we started building the Swindon & Cricklade Railway nearly 30 years ago.
Today, the visitor will find a full range of the facilities expected at a modern Heritage attraction.
For many visitors, our cafe and shop are now proving well worth a visit in their own right. A museum is also open at Blunsdon during selected Special Events.

Extending the Railway Extensions are now well in hand, with track laid over the River Ray bridge and extended for over half a mile towards Swindon.
Immediate work is concentrating on upgrading the track between Blunsdon and Hayes Knoll, but completion of an extension Northwards from Hayes Knoll towards South Meadow Lane will be included in the overall project. Click here to see maps of the new routes.
