Cafe area Blunsdon is where we started building the Swindon & Cricklade Railway 30 years ago.
Today, the visitor will find a full range of the facilities expected at a modern Heritage attraction.
For many visitors, our cafe and shop are now proving well worth a visit in their own right. A museum is also open at Blunsdon during selected Special Events.

Extending the Railway The Railway has now been extended towards Cricklade, as far as South Meadow Lane. This has doubled the ride we can offer. In the south, track has been laid over the River Ray bridge and extended for about a mile towards Swindon. Completing this will be the next major task.
