![]() Work on the Southern Extension became possible several years ago, when we reinstated the bridge over the River Ray. More recently, an 03 crosses with a load of rail. ![]() As far as possible, track on the Southern Extension follows our policy of laying all new rail in concrete sleepers. This will greatly reduce maintenance requirements in future years. ![]() Because of housing development on adjacent land, a new culvert was needed over this storm-water drain. |
